Who we are

How did Seesa (female owned business) come to be... well, inspired by calligraphy, art, beautiful jewellery and of course the Gurmukhi language, the name itself Seesa translates to blessings.

After months of searching for personalised jewellery in Gurmukhi that combined elegance and quality, I realised there was nothing out there that truly captured the craftsmanship I was looking for. So, I decided to create my own. What began in July 2020 as a simple idea quickly turned into a passion project, driven by endless research and a desire to offer people high quality, personalised jewellery that empowers, elevates and celebrates their uniqueness.  A year later, I am proud to offer personalised name necklaces in Gurmukhi, crafted from sterling silver and plated with white gold designed for those who value fine craftsmanship and want jewellery that tells their own meaningful story.

Inspired by what I discovered, the journey naturally evolved expanding into a thoughtfully curated collection of 18k gold filled jewellery. I discovered the strength and longevity of gold filled jewellery is a more affordable alternative to solid gold, and far more resilient than gold plating.

I spent months building relationships with the right partners who aligned with my vision. At Seesa, every piece is responsibly sourced and ethically crafted, with durability and care in mind. Gold filled jewellery offers lasting quality and is gentle on sensitive skin made to be worn every day.

From the beginning, sustainability mattered. I never wanted to create fast-fashion jewellery that would tarnish quickly and end up discarded. Instead, I focused on timeless pieces made to be worn, cherished, and passed down.

This brand was born from a personal need, but it’s grown into something so much more: a celebration of culture, intention, and mindful craftsmanship.

“The way you tell your story, the jewellery you wear, the connections you share, it all becomes part of who you are.”

Why Handmade Matters to Me

I’ve always loved creating things with my hands; there’s something so special about bringing an idea to life. But what truly fills me with joy, is seeing someone’s face light up when they receive a personalised gift. That reaction, that moment of connection, is what keeps me inspired and pushes me forward on this creative journey.

I’m excited to keep channeling that passion into pieces that people can cherish for a lifetime. I care deeply about both quality and sustainability, which is why I choose to work with gold-filled and sterling silver, using recycled materials whenever I can. This not only helps me stay true to my values, but also lets me keep my creations both meaningful and affordable.
